LiveMost English apps grade what you type. Accento grades what you say. You pick a situation, it plays a realistic conversation partner, and you answer out loud — the way the real conversation will actually happen. The feedback is on the audio: how you pronounced it, how it flowed, whether the grammar held up under pressure, and which words you reached for.

Pick a situation and Accento plays the other person. It says one natural line, you reply out loud, and the conversation keeps going.
Four scores, every answer
Pronunciation, fluency, grammar and vocabulary, graded on the audio you just recorded rather than on text you typed.
The sentence you were reaching for
Every answer comes back with how a native speaker would have said it, next to what you actually said.
Fillers and pace
The filler words you leaned on, counted, and how fast you were speaking. Two things that make otherwise fine English sound uncertain.
A coach to ask
A chat for the questions that come up between sessions: why that preposition, how to open a call, what to say when the word will not come.
Where your English is going
Your scores over time, skill by skill, so improvement is something you can see rather than something you hope is happening.
How it works
One session is a short conversation, four or five turns long, and it ends with a page you can act on.
Pick the situation
A job interview, a work meeting, a coffee shop, a phone call, the doctor's office, or travel. Or describe the one you are actually worried about.
Speak your answer
Accento says one natural line and you reply out loud. It follows up the way a real person would, so the pressure is part of the practice.

The sentence a native speaker would have used, next to yours, so the gap is something you can hear rather than something you are told about.
People who have studied English for years still freeze in the room. The gap is almost never vocabulary — it is that the vocabulary has only ever been used silently, at your own pace, with a backspace key. Accento removes all three. You answer once, out loud, at conversation speed, and then you get to see exactly what came out.
Where Accento is today
LiveAccento is built and is not in the App Store yet. This page and the legal documents linked below go up first, because the store requires those URLs to resolve before it will review the app. There are no user numbers or reviews to show, and we would rather say that than invent them.
